Great Smokies SUMMER Assembly
 Maggie Valley, July 13-15, 2008
Most of the 62 South Carolina York Rite Masons that made the pilgrimage
to Maggie Valley in 2008 are shown in this Group picture taken in front
of the Dinner Theater where the meetings were held. There’s so much to do in
Maggie Valley that you just can’t get them all in one place together.

 (It’s O.K. because the Grand Commander & the Grand Generalissimo of the
Grand Encampment is right in the middle and they ain’t got theirs neither)

Ghost Town in the Sky
Who’s dumb enough to go up on something like this? Ted Burgess
and Mike Copeland said that they went up on this thing so I say
if they can do it so can I and my Grandson asked me to ride with him
so I said if they can do it so can I, but as it was going up I
started to asking myself what am I doing up here?
Mike was worried about losing his leg
but I was thinking about losing it all.
