        On Saturday, September 23, 2006 T. Henry Waldrep, Right Eminent Grand Governor of South Carolina and Johnnie Morris, D.G.G , by order of Most Preeminently Distinguished Brother Gene H. Schaber, Governor General; called a General Assembly of the Sovereign College for the purpose of conferring the Order of the Purple Cross on the Distinguished Brother Arthur C. Tracey for his distinguished service to masonry. Due to health reasons, Bro Tracey was unable to travel to Spokane, Washington in 2005 and Little Rock, Arkansas in August of 2006. MPEDB Schaber granted special permission to confer the rank upon Bro Tracey.
        14 distinguished Brethren attended the conferral.

        On Wednesday, November 22, 2006 R.P. T. Henry Waldrep, Grand Governor of South Carolina and Johnnie Morris, DGG, by order of Most Preeminently Distinguished Brother Gene H. Schaber, Governor General, called a General Assembly of the Sovereign College in Anderson, S.C. for the purpose of conferring the Order of the Purple Cross on the Distinguished Brother Donnie Richey for his distinguished service to Masonry. Due to health reasons Most Puissant Schaber granted special permission to confer the rank upon Brother Richey.
